Here is a thought regarding Philippians, the entire theme of this letter is how to walk in God’s redemptive joy despite the insanity of our daily lives.  We must make a choice to train ourselves, that before life throws its daily punches, we are going to drive each one into the arms of Jesus, so He can remind us that we have already won today’s battles through His blood! Hallelujah!

This is very cool! The joy that Jesus gives cannot be taken away!  Jesus tells us, “So for now you are in grief; but I will see you again, and [then, that’s now for us] your hearts will rejoice, and no one will [be able] to take away from you your [great] joy.”  John 16:22

We are believing, each day, for a new level of divine connectivity, through the finished work of His cross!  The cross is foolishness to those who are perishing but it’s the power of God to us who are saved! Hallelujah! Our victory is complete and yet it is still being worked out each day in our lives, another brilliant divine contradiction. This is always where the truth of our God is found for our lives. This is the narrow path only accessible to the believer in Jesus.

“For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” I Corinthians 2:2 NKJV

Remember, the opposite of faith is not fear but sight!  “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” II Corinthians 5:7 NKJV

The enemy wants to use what’s in front of us, to distract us with his chaos, from what Jesus has already accomplished on His cross and through His blood! This represents the dynamic conflict for each believer. Hallelujah!  What is greater right now, our circumstances, or, the supernatural promises and word of our God?

Our response to the conditions surrounding our lives will inform us of exactly what we think about the sovereignty and goodness of God.  “For from Him [all things originate] and through Him [all things live and exist] and to Him are all things [directed]. To Him be glory and honor forever! Amen.”

Romans 11:36 AMP

We are not created to walk by sight in the natural, but to live with ABBA’s perspective, and walk in the spirit by the power of His Holy Spirit.  “For if we have been united together, with Jesus, in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,” Romans 6:5

Here is a thought for your mornings. Before your feet hit the ground, please invite the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh, as you invite Him into your heart and day,  “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Luke 11:13 NKJV (And in the Greek, the language implies, keep asking, and keep asking, never stop asking!)

I have memorized this verse and stand on Jesus’s invitation, to invite, and keep inviting the Holy Spirit to fill me afresh during my day, and to overflow the banks of my parched soul each day, several times a day. Hallelujah! He said it, we believe it, and it’s settled by us acting on our level of faith to His invitation. Hallelujah!

Then, I suggest, take communion, each day!  What fun to apply all these weapons (promises) each day, that are made mighty through God to the pulling down of every stronghold!  The power in our lives always comes from aligning ourselves in faith with God’s glorious word!  II Cor. 10:3-5. I Cor. 11: 23-26, MT. 26: 26-29.
